   In 2001, Manotick became part of the city of Ottawa. In 2002, the City of Ottawa listed these populations: Manotick 4,761; North Gower 1,623; Richmond 3,663; Kars 630; 0sgoode 2,643; Metcalfe 1,875. They list Manotick having the lowest proportion of people in their 20's (less than 14%), the lowest proportion aged 30-44 (less than 20%), and the highest percentage of people 45-64 (more than 27%). In 2006 Manotick's estimated population is 7,545 according to Wikipedia.org (unverified).
